Queen Letizia of Spain IGNORES style rules and wears blue dress with black accessories
Queen Letizia of Spain, 45, attended a ‘Digitalizadas’ presentation in Santiago de Compostela, Spain today, and the Spanish royal wore an chic dress for the occasion.
The mum-of-two chose a blue dress which came below her knee and had short sleeves. A small waistband highlighted the spanish royal’s slim frame.
Breaking style rules, Letizia ignored the age-old sartorial edict that blue and black should never be worn together.
She decided to pair her dress with black patent court shoes and a slim back clutch.
Her hair was worn in a deep side parting and hung loosely by her shoulders.
A pair of large diamond earrings could be seen glittering in her ears, but no other jewellery was visible.
The Queen has been busy in recent weeks, attending a myriad of events without her husband King Felipe.
Last week, Letizia joined the members of the Royal Academy of Engineering in a chic look that highlighted her trim shape.
The elegant look featured fitted black trousers with matching black stilettos which elongated her legs.
She finished the look with a tweed fitted long-sleeved top in a Chanel-esque style.
The Queen is also unafraid of bright colours, stepping out in a vibrant red outfit in February.
She paired a round neck top with a slim fit three-quarter length skirt.
The skirt was cut very close at the waist, showing off her slim figure.
Adding a saucy edge to her look, Letizia wore a pair of suede red boots she has worn before.
Completing the outfit, the Queen carried a red leather clutch bag.
She wore her hair in a low bun pulled over her ears for a relaxed look.
