‘Strong minded’ Meghan Markle’s engagement ring designed with three stones for this reason
The couple posed in front of Kensington Palace for a photo-call on 27 November after their engagement was announced on Twitter.
Much was made of Meghan Markle’s engagement ring, which it was revealed was made with diamonds from Princess Diana’s private collection and a huge central stone from Botswana.
Now an expert has revealed what Meghan Markle’s engagement ring says about her.
Meghan Markle’s engagement ring – what does it say about her?
A representative from Goldsmiths, a British jeweller, said: “An engagement ring is a symbol of eternal commitment; however choosing the dream ring can be a daunting process.
“It’s essential that it is not only the perfect fit in size but also the right style for you or the person you intend on asking to share your life with.”
Meghan’s makes her “strong minded”, according to the company which has produced engagement rings since 1778.
Goldsmiths said of a woman with a multi-stone ring: “She considers herself to be a strong-minded, fashionable woman and a modern romantic at heart so she’ll be keen to have something a little different on her finger.
“The multi-stone ring uses a state-of-the-art diamond setting technique to create a larger visual appearance and one of a full stone creating a high impact design and sparkling statement.
“The possibilities and shapes vary so the wearer can find a one-of-a-kind look to suit her contemporary taste.”
Cheaper versions are already available on the British high street. Argos has a version for £33, while QVC are selling a version for only £22.50.
