Theresa May, 61 attended the common wealth games this morning along with the royal family.

The Prime Minister made an entrance dressed in red and flaunts a striking bow hat.

Sheltering from the rain, a long black leather coat protects her from the unfortunate weather.

Theresa has been known make a statement with her bold outfits and today is no different.

Holding tight onto her hat, she hold her composure admist the wind and rain.

May joined the Queen as they Royal Family marked Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry and other members of the royal family. 

Prince Charles and Camilla will also be present, as will Prince William and Kate Middleton.

What is Commonwealth Day 2018?

The annual celebration is observed every year across the world on the second Monday of March and this year falls on March 12.

Commonwealth Day brings together people from countries in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, Americas, Asia and the Pacific.

The countries within the Commonwealth currently span approximately 20 per cent of land on earth, with a third of the popularity included (2.419 billion people).

There are currently 53 countries as part of the Commonwealth across the globe.

The Royal Family also attended the event, with Kate Middleton wearing a navy blue ensemble.

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, wore a white coat, already channelling bridal vibes before her big day on May 19.
