Crux is funded by BKM (The cultural ministry of Germany), FFA, DFFF, MDM, FF MV, MBB, Eurimages, Polish Movie Institute and BR/arte.
The movie marks Vahl’s characteristic directorial debut, following a string of acclaimed shorts together with Gömböc (Locarno Movie Competition), Beneath Zero (Grand Prix Bristol Movie Competition), and Struggling, nominated for the German Quick Movie Award.
