Brody Jenner says he and Liam Hemsworth have ended up being “like brothers” because their exes hooked up.
They’ve since parted ways, and Miley is now dating singer Cody Simpson, but at the time it caused a bit of tension, with Brody making jokes about holding hands with Liam and Miley firing back at him on Instagram .
Now, it seems that’s all water under the bridge, and The Hills star Brody has even suggested that it’s brought him and Liam close.
During an interview on Australian radio show Smallzy’s Surgery, Brody talked about heading to the Gold Coast to hook up with the Hunger Games star.
The host said: “I just heard Chris Hemsworth got himself like a massive new house, see if you can try to get a tour, I’ve been trying to get access.”
Brody said: “Yeah, Liam. Liam and I are like brothers now. I’ll hit him up when I’m down there, for sure.”
Smallzy laughed: “It’s very weird. I don’t know how that works.”
Brody repeated: “I’ll definitely hit him up while I’m down there for sure.”
He added: “Honestly, the Hemsworths, those guys are … I know a few of them personally and honestly, what an incredible group of guys.
“They’re such a great representation of Australia and people down there, they’re such great guys.”
Miley and Brody had some beef after she and Kaitlynn were first pictured together.
After pictures of the newly-single women kissing in Lake Como emerged, Brody shared a snap of himself stood at the top of a cliff in Malibu with the ocean behind him and said: “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”
His Hills co-star Brandon Lee suggested: “Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out”
Brody jokingly replied: “watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon”
And it seemed Miley wasn’t too pleased about his joke.
She replied: “Go take a nap in your truck and cool off.”
However, they later made up, with Miley and Kaitlynn even sending Brody a joint birthday present.
He later took to social media to defend his ex fro the criticism she’d received.
He said in a statement: “There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much. I feel the need to set the story straight.
“Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for 6 years, and we continue to be. We, like many others before us and many after us, grew in different directions over the same 6 years.
“Kaitlynn is a wonderful person, beautiful and fun to be with, always a positive force in my life. We decided the best move for both of us was to keep our love for each other strong but move forward separately with our lives.
“I respect Kaitlynn and care deeply about her. She deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness.”
