If social media is to be believed, the script is already written for the game and the Eagles will win 37-34, making Patrick Mahomes a two-time Super Bowl loser. As much as the Chiefs defense has improved, it is the weak link on both ends. Philadelphia’s offense and defense look dominant in the playoffs. Still, the Eagles had an incredibly easy road to the Super Bowl, whether those in Philly wanted to admit it or not. It really ends here. Does previous Super Bowl experience beat the odds? Or does a team with a higher ceiling fulfill that potential with the brightest lights? I’m going with the former, as Tom Brady has proven on so many occasions.
