Making her big return to live shows for the first time in years, Rihanna showed off her baby bump during the opening lines of “Bitch Better Have My Money,” and her publicist confirmed she’s pregnant with her second child. Despite carrying a baby, RiRi performed a dozen hits in 13 minutes while singing at ground level and sometimes 10 stories above State Farm Stadium Lawn. There were no guest stars and it wasn’t flashy like last year’s show. And Trump thought it was the worst halftime performance in Super Bowl history. Something tells me the orange psycho wasn’t in the mood for “Only Girl (In The World)” with Melania before Sunday. Also, haven’t seen Maroon 5 perform in 2019? God, that was such bullshit. At least they had Big Boi.
Trump’s patterns of sexism and racism, meanwhile, are well documented. This is just another pathetic example of someone who has been disliked by most Americans since he entered the political sphere. Rihanna slayed and showed why she is one of the best performers of her generation. And since she doesn’t agree with Trump, he has to send a message down by telling her to the world. No real man chooses women to make himself feel better. How shallow it is.
