Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly split after six years together – and it’s said the break up happened months ago.
It’s reports that the famous couple went their separate ways in May, just a few weeks after they made their red carpet debut together at the Met Gala .
Dawson’s Creek star Katie, 40, began dating Django Unchained actor Jamie, 51, in 2013, around a year after her divorce from ex Tom Cruise.
They kept their romance under wraps for a long time, but finally posed up as a couple on a red carpet at the star-studded Met Gala in May.
But now, it’s all over according to Page Six .
A source told the site they overheard a conversation between Katie and a friend at a restaurant, and claim the actress said: “What Jamie does is his business — we haven’t been together for months.”
The site says a second source confirmed the relationship ended in May, a few weeks after the Gala.
They had made their first public appearance together at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Gala in New York in 2018.
But it was the Met Gala which really caused headlines.
It was reported at the time that they’d finally confirmed their romance after years of sneakily dating under the radar.
Katie looked stunning in a purple tulle dress by designer Zac Posen, which featured striking pink feather detailing at the shoulders.
In a nod to his girlfriend, Jamie embraced the art of couple’s dressing by pairing his sharp black suit with a snazzy pair of grape-coloured shoes.
The first pair went public (kind of) in September 2017 when they were pictured strolling hand-in-hand along the beach in Malibu shortly after the five-year anniversary of her divorce from Tom Cruise.
Katie and Tom divorced in June 2012, and while Katie got full custody of their daughter Suri, 13, her actor ex is believed to have made her agree not to get another boyfriend – at least publicly – until June 2017.
Mirror Online has contacted Katie and Jamie’s representatives for comment.
