CryptoZoo and Logan Paul are named as defendants in a newly filed joint lawsuit, alleging they stole millions of dollars worth of customer cryptocurrency through a “fraudulent enterprise.”
In a Feb. 2 court filing in the District Court for the Western District of Texas, prosecutor Don Holland alleged that Paul and executives at CryptoZoo (CZ) “performed a ‘carpet pull'” by promising buyers of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) exclusive access to cryptoassets among other perks, but ultimately abandoned the project and kept the funds.
