Manchester United are eyeing Youri Tielemans
Manchester United could make a move for Youri Tielemans at the end of the season, according to Ben Jacobs. The Belgian midfielder’s contract with Leicester City expires this summer. The Foxes are yet to tie him down to a new contract, and the 25-year-old is expected to leave on a free this year.
The Red Devils are likely to have a busy summer and Tielemans could be among the players they are targeting. Speaking to Give Me Sport, Jacobs said Erik ten Hag’s presence at Old Trafford could convince Tielemans to make the move.
“I don’t think Tielemans sold himself too much to Manchester United under the previous managers. But with Erik ten Hague turning things around, if Manchester United qualify for the Champions League, it could be a real option for them,” said Jacobs.
Jacobs added that Arsenal is also after the Belgian.
“If they lose a midfielder, they could feel like a box-to-box midfielder or an attacking midfielder, like Youri Tielemans, he could be the type of player who not only balances the books a bit, but can step in with some goals and help add some control to central midfield. Manchester United and Arsenal are two more to watch,” said Jacobs.
Tielemans has registered four goals and one assist in 27 games across all competitions for Leicester this season.
Napoli urged not to relieve Victor Osimhen
Gianluca Atzori believes Napoli should never let Victor Osimhen leave. The Nigerian striker is a target for Ten Haga this year, with the Dutch manager looking to bring in a new number 9 to lead the line. Osimhen has been in hot form for the Serie A leaders this season.

Speaking to Napoli Magazine recently, as reported by Soccer Net, Atzori said that Napoli will have trouble replacing the Nigerian.
“I would never let Osimhen go, even if nobody is immutable in today’s football. The cycle can be opened provided that the good players are integrated with the best in the team. Then, if Napoli are good enough to let Osimhen go and sign a better striker, hats off. But it’s not that easy,” said Atzori.
Osimhen has collected 17 goals and four assists in 21 games in various competitions this season for the Serie A side.
The Red Devils are following Yannick Carrasco
Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Yannick Carrasco, reports AS via Sport Witness.
The Belgian forward is surplus to requirements from Atletico Madrid and is likely to be released at the end of the season. The 29-year-old’s contract with Los Rojiblanocs expires next summer, but the club want to see him back this year.
Barcelona are favorites for Carrasco and reportedly already have a contract worth €20 million for the player. However, if they decide not to exercise that option, the Red Devils could swoop for the Belgian.
Ten Hag is spoiled for choice in attack, so a move for Carrasco definitely doesn’t make sense. Any departure this summer could prompt the club to move for Carrasco.
