Minnesota lawmakers consider bill to turn state into ‘trans sanctuary’

Lawmakers in Minnesota are increasingly radicalizing the state.

HF146, introduced by Rep. Leigh Finke of the Democratic Farm Workers Party, would make Minnesota a “trans sanctuary” state.

Transgender Finke was elected to the Minnesota House in District 66A in the midterm elections.

Gateway Pundit previously reported that Democrats in the Minnesota House of Representatives are also pushing for legislation that would require the availability of menstrual products in all boys’ school restrooms across the state.

“A school district or charter school must provide students with free access to menstrual products. The products must be available in restrooms used by students in grades 4 through 12,” the bill states. “For purposes of this section, “menstrual products” means pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.”

HF146 would ensure that children undergoing gender reassignment procedures permitted under Minnesota law are not governed by the child protection laws of other states.

Fox News reports:

HF146 “would make Minnesota a sanctuary state for trans people by protecting trans people, their families and doctors from the legal consequences of traveling to Minnesota to receive gender-affirming care,” Finke said.

This need is desperate in my community. This is not a hypothetical scenario,” Finke said of the bill. “There are currently gender diverse people receiving gender affirming care in Minnesota. More of them are fleeing their home countries wondering where to turn.”

HF146 would prevent law enforcement from removing a child from parental custody pursuant to a warrant outside of Minnesota.

This clause is intended to ensure that children undergoing gender reassignment procedures permitted under Minnesota law cannot be governed by the child welfare laws of other states.
