Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fired Minister of Protection Yoav Gallant. Netanyahu stated, “Within the midst of a struggle, greater than ever, full belief is required between the prime minister and minister of protection. Sadly, though within the first months of the struggle there was such belief and there was very productive work, in current months that belief between the minister of protection and myself has been damaged.”
He continued, “Vital variations have emerged between Gallant and myself within the administration of the struggle, and these variations had been accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted the selections of the federal government and the selections of the cupboard. I made many makes an attempt to bridge these gaps, however they stored getting wider. In addition they got here to the general public’s consideration in an unacceptable approach, and worse than that, they got here to the eye of the enemy – our enemies took pleasure on this and derived plenty of profit from it.
“Differing opinions in open discussions, everybody is aware of, those that know me – that is my approach of managing the discussions and the evaluations and choices. Everybody is aware of this. Netanyahu has changed Gallant with Israel Katz, who at present serves as Minister of Overseas Affairs, the place he will likely be changed by Gideon Sa’ar.
