Oasis musical would depict Noel Gallagher as a 'massive c***' – Liam
A musical about Oasis would depict Noel Gallagher as a “massive c***”, his brother Liam has suggested.
Noel has said a stage show about the Manchester band is “inevitable”.
It will “happen one day”, he said, and he will “go and see it once”.
Live Forever is “always” the title when producers pitch the idea to him.
Responding to his brother’s comments, Liam tweeted his own outline plot, beginning: “Oasis the musical: five lads from Manchester start a band and take on the world.
“The little one who writes the songs turns into a massive c***… sacks everyone except his little brother as he ain’t got the a***.”
Liam, 46, concluded his synopsis by saying that Noel “splits up the band”.
He added: “There’s a storyline for ya. THE END LG x.”
In an interview, Noel, 52, said people had been “on to me about that [a musical] for the last 10 years”.
He added that he had spoken to an “English guy who works on Broadway who knows about these things”.
The storyline would be about Oasis’s journey from rags to riches, the man apparently said.
“Do you have to make it so Dickensian?” Noel responded. “I never wore any rags.”
But he acknowledged that “people do love that s**t”, adding: “It’s inevitable it will happen one day. I will go and see it once.”
