The AEW World Championship is now in its four-year history and has become one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling. Maybe that’s why it got so much attention when it was announced that the former title holder was in the OnlyFans model’s DM.
Chris Jericho inaugurated the world title when he defeated Hangman Page at Double or Nothing 2019. Page would later hold the belt to put his name alongside Jon Moxley, CM Punk and Kenny Omega as former AEW World Champions.
MJF is the current title holder after defeating Moxley last November. Those who carry the world title are often called the face of the company and are designed to exemplify the company they represent.
So it might be concerning to see that an OnlyFans model named Morgan Moore has claimed that the ‘AEW World Champion’ has been messaging her directly for free access to her platform. The original post has since been deleted, but fans on Twitter picked up on the claim and reposted it.
“Not to brag, but I had an AEW World Champion in my DM asking for a free trial of my OnlyFans,” tweeted Morgan Moore.
Various prominent wrestling names had their own exclusive platforms, either through OnlyFans or similar.
The best example can be found with former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, who was fired by WWE after she was found to be posting risque content on her channel.
Could there be a new AEW World Champion at Revolution 2023?
MJF has been confirmed to defend his world title at the Revolution pay-per-view on March 5, 2023. He will face Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man match, despite best efforts to prevent this from happening.
Bryan had to defeat Konosuke Takeshita, Bandido, Brian Cage, and Rush to earn his shot, and American Dragon chose Iron Man’s condition when he first made the challenge. The former WWE Champion had to endure more than just matches, with MJF attacking him savagely in an attempt to make sure he never made it to the event.
This will be Bryan Danielson’s fifth attempt at a world title since joining Tony Khan’s promotion. Time will tell if this will be his time or not.
