JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israel’s military said on Saturday it was beefing up forces in the occupied West Bank, a day after a Palestinian gunman killed seven people near a synagogue in a Jerusalem suburb.
“After assessing the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) situation, it was decided to reinforce the Judea and Samaria (West Bank) Division with an additional battalion,” the military said.
