Ukraine’s armed forces recently received a new batch of two Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 armed drones, according to the country’s Defense Intelligence Agency (GUR).
“Today we received 2 more Bayraktar TB2 UAVs from our great friends and partners from Ukraine – the Baykar company,” GUR announced in a Facebook post.
According to GUR’s announcement, Baykar provided Bayraktar TB2 combat drones free of charge to help Ukrainian armed forces and support people and protect peaceful innocent people.

“We are extremely grateful for Baykar’s uncompromising and constant support in the most difficult times for our country,” the message added.
According to Baykar, the Bayraktar UAV is a medium-altitude, long-endurance class system developed for tactical reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
The Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat vehicle can carry a maximum payload of more than 55 kg. Bayraktar can fly up to 22,500 feet and hover for more than 24 hours.
