Trump’s 2020 lawyer previously ambushed by FBI now faces disbarment in California

Trump’s 2020 lawyer John Eastman faces disbarment from California bar for ‘subverting democracy’ by trying to ‘overturn the presidential election’.

On January 6, the committee sent the feds after Trump lawyer John Eastman for daring to take action against the Democrats and their massive 2020 election fraud operation.

Recall that Eastman was previously ambushed by the FBI while leaving a restaurant in New Mexico.

John Eastman was leaving a restaurant with his wife and a friend last June when FBI agents ambushed him and “forced” him to unlock his phone.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Conservative attorney John Eastman faces disbarment from the California bar. He was among Trump’s brain trust devising plans to contest the 2020 election.

The State Bar of California filed disciplinary action against Eastman on Thursday. They accused him of undermining democracy by formulating legal strategies to overturn the presidential election in favor of former President Donald Trump.

Eastman faces 11 counts of alleged ethics violations and making false statements about elections.

“There is nothing more sacred to our American democracy than free and fair elections and the peaceful transfer of power,” California State Bar Association General Counsel George Cardona said in a statement.

“The Notice of Disciplinary Charges alleges that Mr. Eastman breached this duty in promoting an attempt to usurp the will of the American people and overturn the election results.”
