WWE Veteran Thinks Bianca Belair’s Match On This Week’s RAW Was Rushed (Exclusive)

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo thinks the Triple Threat match involving Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch and Bayley on WWE RAW this week ended too soon.

After the show started, it was announced that the three stars would collide in the main event. If The Man or The Role Model wins the match, they will be added to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. WWE’s EST defeated them and emerged victorious, and as a result, they will not be competing within an unyielding structure.

Talking to Dr. Chris Featherstone on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAWVince Russo has stated that he is not a fan of long women’s matches, but feels that the triple threat match on WWE RAW ended too soon.

“These girls have worked hard. There’s no doubt about it, bro. These girls always work hard. But I believe it – I think they’ve let a lot of these women’s matches go on too long. And the longer it goes on, bro, the more exposure they’re going to get . And I actually think bro, even though this match went on for a long time Chris, I think they went home too soon. And I know they ended up promoting Elimination Chamber, no I don’t think that was planned bro. I think they went home too soon,” he said is Russo. [1:24:30-1:25:18]

Vince Russo on his criticism of WWE booking

The former RAW head writer was part of the creative team during the Attitude Era and helped create storylines and angles for superstars such as The Undertaker, Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Vince Russo clarified that he doesn’t hate anyone in WWE and feels that the product would be better if the higher ups paid attention to his criticisms.

“I don’t hate anybody on this show, I don’t hate anybody that puts this show together. The criticisms that I give, I actually think it would help them if they paid attention to them. And like I said bro, I think they’re making progress, bro. I think they’re making progress, but I want to see a solid three-hour show sometime,” Russo said. [1:26:05 – 1:26:30]
